Yesterday, 12/4/2024 Bitcoin hit $100,000.00, it has been on a roll the last year. But the question everyone has it, will it continue to go up. This is a loaded question depending on what you mean. There is a good chance that it will go up…but when. Will it crash, and then soar to new heights, or is not the last stop to the moon, and this is the new low.
I remember back in 2017, the first big run bitcoin had. It spike up to nearly 20k from just a few dollars. Arguably, this was the biggest run to date. Meaning that if you invested early, your would have made the most profit.
Then in February, 2021, while I was drinking a beer in the stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas, and watching the bulls runs… I looked down at my phone and I see BTC on its own bull run from 6k to 40k and then up to 55k later that month. I was blown away. At that point, I knew that BTC was not done.
Beginning September, 2023, we start to see the run that we are in today. it started about around 17k, and now it is hovering around 97k.
One thing that we have in common with all of these runs, it that it runs up fast and large. I do not know when the top is going to be hit on this run, but based on consumer behavior and past trends, it looks like it is going to go back down. But Bitcoin is here to stay, and likely it will go to new highs, but it will take time.
